Text Message Terms

Effective October 23, 2026

Roofing contractors use Ridgewise to send their customers text messages about their own roofing project. These terms explain how you agree to those texts, what you'll get, and how to stop them. Texts come from a Ridgewise toll-free number and always start with the contractor's name.

1. What you'll receive

Only messages about a project you asked a contractor about:

your estimate is ready to review and sign, and a follow-up if you haven't looked at it;
appointment, inspection and crew arrival updates;
invoices, deposit requests and payment reminders, and a receipt when you pay;
after the job is done, one request to review the contractor.

We don't send advertising, and contractors can't use Ridgewise to text people who haven't agreed.

2. How you agree (opt in)

When you request an estimate on a contractor's website, the form has a separate box you can tick. It is not ticked by default, and you don't have to tick it to get an estimate. It reads:

Text me about my estimate request, appointments and invoices from [Contractor name]. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Not required to get an estimate. Text terms

You can see the form on our sample contractor website: https://copper-creek-roofing.getridgewise.com/contact. We record the date and time you agreed. Texts are sent only to numbers that agreed this way.

3. How often

Message frequency varies with your project, usually a few messages per estimate or job. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

4. How to stop or get help

Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts from that number. You'll get one message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and no more after that. Reply START to opt back in.
Reply HELP for help, or email support@getridgewise.com. You can also call the contractor directly.

Carriers aren't responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Your privacy

We don't sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used only to send the messages described above, for the contractor you asked. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
